takes place every year at the beginning of September and is dedicated
to the memory of the national hero AVRAM IANCU. The celebration attracts
many people not only from TEBEA but also from the adjacent villages and
even from farther places.
The celebration begins with a religious service at
the tomb of Avram Iancu in the cemetery of the church in TEBEA. Then a
folk spectacle takes place in the natural amphitheater provided by the
hill near the Cultural House of the village. Local and nationwide renowned
artists and folk groups participate to the event.
